Gold Loan business with the
launch of a dedicated branch in Makrana. The launch marks an important addition
to Aditya Birla Capital’s comprehensive portfolio of financial solutions and
reinforces its commitment to providing customers with transparent, secure and
convenient access to organised gold-backed credit.
Rajasthan is emerging as a significant market
for organised gold lending. According to CRIF High Mark, the state's gold loan
portfolio stood at ₹41,700 crore as of March 2026, registering 60.6%
year-on-year growth. Its strong rural and semi-urban economy, entrepreneurial
base and rising demand for formal secured credit offer considerable opportunity
for organised lenders. Supported by its globally renowned marble industry and
vibrant local economy, Makrana is an important market for ABCL's initial
rollout.

Aditya Birla Capital’s Gold Loan offering will
cater to diverse customer segments across urban and semi-urban markets in
Makrana, while further strengthening the company’s diversified portfolio of
financial solutions. ABCL and its subsidiaries/JVs have a nationwide network of
over 1,759 branches, and their consolidated lending book crossed Rs. 2.19 Lakh Crore
as of June 30, 2026. The phased rollout of the gold loan business will expand
access to trusted and convenient secured lending solutions across Rajasthan.
