Housing.com, India’s leading online real estate company, has announced the launch of its operations in Jaipur. The move comes at a time when demand for real estate in tier-II and III cities has spiked in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic coupled with a robust increase in digital adoption in these cities which are being tagged as the next growth centres in terms of real estate business.

The REA India-owned company has taken up office space at Mansarovar, where its various teams, including sales & marketing, data experts, etc., will operate from and help the company cover a market where there has been a great spike in real estate activities for both builder partners and broker partners because of the increase in demand.

The company comprises a trained team of sales personnel, marketing and technology experts, data collectors, analysts, and auditors, along with strong research and analytics team.

Commenting on the launch, Amit Masaldan, Business Head, Housing.com, said: “Tier-II and Tier-III cities have now become one of our key areas of interest since the pandemic has helped drive housing demand in these cities. In the times to come, these growth centres will become more and more crucial for the success of our business. In fact, Jaipur has ranked 14 in online search activity in July 2021, according to Housing.com’s Indian residential index for online search (IRIS), a platform that tracks activity in 42 housing markets.

Findings of the index also point out that the demand for housing in tier-II cities has recovered more quickly after the two waves of the coronavirus spread than in the top-cities, demonstrating a shift in demand to these cities post the pandemic.
