Patel
Infrastructure Ltd., (PATEL) GUJARAT, one of the contributing pioneers in the
country’s construction scene has etched its name in history by setting a World Record for the fastest construction
of a 6 lane Ganga Expressway project which happens to be the INDIA’S longest
expressway owned by a state, a dream project of dynamic and visionary chief
minister of Uttar Pradesh SHREE YOGI ADITYANATH ji .
This world record consists
laying of bituminous concrete on 34.24 kilometres, using 20,105 metric tons of
bituminous concrete and covering 1,71,210 square meters, all within 24 hours of
non-stop operations and 10km of metal beam crash barrier installation by and PATEL ancillary
company ROAD SHIELD PRIVATE LIMITED. This achievement has been officially
recognised and authenticated by three major record authorities-Golden Book of
World Records, India Book of Records, and Asia Book of Records.
The
WORLD RECORD was made possible under
the vision and supervision of UPEIDA CEO
Shri MANOJ KUMAR SINGH. With full support from local and state authorities
– The completion of this critical stretch holds immense significance for both
the local region and the state of Uttar Pradesh, serving as a catalyst for
regional development and national connectivity.
The
record-setting effort took place on the prestigious
Ganga Expressway Project (Group-3) a project of
ADANI ROAD AND TRANSPORT LIMITED (ARTL) An ADANI GROUP COMPANY , a
landmark infrastructure initiative spearheaded by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA),
between Hardoi and Unnao districts.
Operations commenced sharply at 5:00 AM
on May 17, 2025, and was accomplished by 5:00 AM on May 18, 2025 beating target quantities, involving a
highly coordinated effort of engineers, machinery, materials, and skilled
labour working seamlessly for 24 hours straight.
