Jaipur, April 2026.
Reinforcing its commitment to
inclusive community development, Girnar Foundation, the CSR arm of CarDekho
Group, successfully concluded their annual sustainability carnival. The
program, organized every year in the month of April, focuses on healthcare, environmental
and educational initiatives. This year, the Foundation hosted a two-day
outreach initiative in Jaipur. These initiatives focused on improving
healthcare access, strengthening school infrastructure, and enabling digital
education for underprivileged children.
As part of the initiative, the
Foundation organized a Health Check-up Camp at Mahatma Gandhi Government
School, benefiting nearly 200 students. The camp included eye screenings,
dental check-ups, and general health assessments, helping identify health
concerns early and promote preventive care among children. To further support
student wellbeing, children were also provided health kits comprising first-aid
essentials and dental hygiene products.
The Foundation also inaugurated a
newly developed multipurpose shed area within a Jaipur school campus. The new
facility will serve as a versatile space for study sessions, play activities,
assemblies, and mid-day meals, creating a safer and more functional environment
for students.
In a major boost to digital learning,
the Girnar Foundation donated five desktop computer systems, introduced
computer learning modules, and set up a dedicated computer lab to improve
students’ access to technology and digital skills. Senior leaders from the
Group attended the inauguration ceremony and interacted with students,
encouraging them to dream big and make the most of the opportunities available
to them.
Talking about the initiatives, Pihu
Jain, Head, Girnar Foundation said, “At Girnar Foundation, we believe that
every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthy, learn in a safe
environment, and access the tools needed to succeed in today’s world. Our
initiatives in Jaipur are a reflection of this commitment — from preventive
healthcare support and improved school infrastructure to digital learning
resources that can open new pathways for the future. By contributing to
children’s well-being and education today, we aim to help build stronger, more
confident communities for tomorrow. We remain committed to creating meaningful,
long-term impact through focused interventions that empower young minds and
support inclusive progress.”
Through these interventions, the
Foundation continues to create measurable grassroots impact while contributing
to the adopted United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - SDG 3:
Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 4: Quality Education.
