Hotels Corporation(NYSE: H)today announced the signing of The Landmark Kanpur,
which will become part of the JdV by Hyatt brand, marking Hyatt’s continued
strategic expansion of its brands in India. Located in one of Kanpur’s most
prestigious neighborhoods, the hotel is owned by Som Datt Landmark Hotels and
Recreations Private Limited and is expected to open in 2026.
Plans
for The Landmark Kanpur, reinforces Hyatt’s commitment to growing its portfolio
of independent, experience-driven lifestyle hotels in key cities across India. The
hotel will feature170 rooms, a spa,four food and beverage outlets, and varied
event facilities including a lush 7,200 square foot lawn on the 21st
floor, catering to both corporate travelers and social groups.The property is
being thoughtfully restored to meet the elevated design and experience
standards of the JdV by Hyatt brand, a collection of vibrant, independent
hotels that are true reflections of the urban neighborhoods they call
home.
